Iran: 5 executed in Kerman, 3 awaiting hanging in Bandar Abbas

Five death row prisoners in Kerman’s Shahab Prison were executed early Thursday morning, July 30th, while three others were transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for their executions, Hrana reported.
The victims in Kerman were 1 woman and 4 men, and the identities of three of the men were Ezzat Sabeki, Meitham Shahraki and Ali Zehi.
Three death row prisoners were also transferred to solitary confinement in Bandar Abbas Prison in preparation for their executions. The identities of these individuals are:
1. Yousef Shahnavazi Shahdadi from Kahnuj, 25, already in prison for 5 years
2. Kamran Zar’i from Urumieh, 47, already in prison for 3½ years
3. Jamal Kasebkar from Urumieh, 45, already in prison for 4 years
The Iranian regime’s judiciary has not reported any of these executions, their court procedures or rulings issued in this regard.
Other reports indicate Khamenei’s judiciary has also issued a death sentence for political prisoner Mohammad Ali Taheri. The regime’s official judiciary news agency reported he has been informed of his ruling and can file for an appeal.
The mullahs’ regime has raised bogus allegations against this political prisoner such as insulting the sanctities and already sentenced him to life in jail and a heavy fine. In April other charges including ‘corruption on Earth’ were added to his dossier.
