Various news agencies cited the Yazd Province prosecution office reporting four individuals arrested on drug-related charges were sentenced to death and executed.
These rulings were confirmed by the country’s prosecutor general and orders were issued by the judiciary in Tehran. Finally the four individuals were sent to the gallows early Tuesday morning, August 4th. It is worth noting that the names and identification of these individuals have not been reported by government agencies.
