With internal disputes reaching new peaks, the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) behind closed doors looked into a case of $3 billion in embezzlement.
“In a session behind closed doors, the case of $3 billion dollars of bank embezzlement was addressed and reviewed by the Majlis with the chiefs of the Central Bank and the National Inspection Organization being present,” the state-run Mehr news agency reported.
Fearing the scope of this embezzlement being revealed to the public, the Majlis session was held behind closed doors.
