In another of sign growing internal rifts inside the Iranian regime, 22 Majlis (parliament) members presented an impeachment text to the Majlis speaker demanding Ahmadinejad’s finance minister to be impeached.
The following subjects have been stated in this text: incomplete measures and violating the legal writs regarding his duties towards banks and other financial entities, appointing incompetent individuals in important positions, neglecting to supervise banks as the representative of the government’s stocks despite warnings issues by supervising organs, and refusing to resist against executive officials’ infiltrating measures.
