Iran: 2 teachers transferred from ward 2A to ward 8 in Evin Prison

Two imprisoned teachers by the names of Mehdi Bahluli and Mohammad Reza Niknezhad, who were held for 18 days in ward 2A in Evin Prison – supervised by the Revolutionary Guards – and have been transferred to ward 8 on Wednesday.
It is said that Niknezhad has been transferred to hall 8 alongside other imprisoned teachers Abdi and Hashemi. Another jailed teacher by the name of Bahluli has been transferred to ward 7.
In other reports, an individual accused of insulting the regime’s supreme leader arrested back in 2012 and held for 101 days in ward 2A, and finally released on bail, was arrested once again on Wednesday and transferred to ward 2A of Evin Prison.
This individual, Hadi Eghbali, was condemned to 8 ½ years of prison on charges of “insulting the leader, measures against national security, insulting the president and propaganda against the state”.
