Iran: 2 political prisoners escape from Sardasht Prison

Two political prisoners by the names of Omid Bigzadeh and Mehdi Khazari escaped from a notorious prison in the city of Sardasht on the night of Monday, December 30th. These two political prisoners were able to flee from the city prison after being arrested in the summer of 2013 following clashes with the regime’s police in Sardasht. These two young Kurdish prisoners were accused of moharebe (enmity against God) and actions against the regimes’ security in the Iranian regime’s so-called courts in Sardasht under charges.
