Fourteen death row prisoners in Ghezel Hesar Prison of Karaj, west of Tehran, surpassed their 7th day of hunger strike. They are protesting their death sentences.
Following the criminal execution of 11 inmates on Thursday, June 26th, these inmates launched a hunger strike protesting the hanging of their fellow cellmates.
