Following the increasing trend of cutting off people from the major internet and social network services by the Iranian regime as a means of limiting people’s access to the international news networks, the Internet connection to the major Iranian city of Ahwaz has been cut off since Monday, according to sources in the city.

The report says the problem has been with the communication directorate of the province citing some internet service providers. They say the office of communication directorate of Ahwaz has not indicated that when this problem would be resolved.
