Reyhaneh Jabbari, a 26 year old woman has been transferred to solitary confinement to be executed at the early hours of Tuesday morning Tehran time. The Iranian resistance is calling on the international organizations and human rights bodies to do an urgent action to stop this inhumane punishment.
Sho’leh Pakravan, Reyhaneh’s mother has written on her face book page that her daughter called her minutes before being transferred to the Gohardasht prison to have the execution sentence carried out the next morning. Prisoners who are on the death row in Iran are usually transferred to the solitary the night before their execution and the sentence is carried out before dawn next morning. Her mother has pleaded to the world to do everything possible to prevent this young ill-fated woman from being hanged.
