Norway’s Statoil Hydro Company, one of the few multinational oil companies with various activities in Iran’s oil and gas fields during the last 2 decades, on September 20th stopped all its projects inside Iran, Voice of America reported.
This company yet did not announce the reasons for withdrawing from Iran’s oil industry. However, a number of Western’s news sources criticized continuation of the Statoil Hydro’s activities in Iran despite an increase in sanctions against the Iran regime.
