In Iran, the price of Bread raises every day

Reports from Shahr-e Kurd show that the price of bread has been fluctuating in recent days. After the government increase in the price of bread, the price of Sangak, a type of bread baked over hot stones, rose from 4500 Rials to 5500 Rials for a single bread, and Lavash bread, which is a very thin type of bread and favored by many Iranians rose from 1800 Rials to 2500 Rials per single bread. Another favored bread in Iran called ’Barbari’ also rose from 3800 Rials to 4500 Rials for each bread. In addition to the rise in prices, the quality of the bread has decreased, and people queuing in line to purchase bread longer because of lack of bread, a situation that has created an atmosphere of dissatisfaction among the people.
In Ghazvin, the price of different types of bread is on rise quite irregularly. The price of Sangak reached 6500 Rials per single bread and Lavash up to 2500 Rials. This would be a 40 to 45 percent increase in the prices.  While the price of bread has increased, the quality of bread has decreased. People are very displeased and angry and are saying they are worried and wonder with such a drastic rise in the prices, how much would the bread cost two or three weeks from now.
