IAEA cannot say Iran’s nuke program is peaceful: Amano

International Atomic Energy Aagency Director-General Yukiya Amano in an interview with China’s Xinhua news agency said on the military scope of Iran’s nuclear program to this day a timetable has yet to be presented by this regime and there has not been a clear response.
Iran has also yet to give a positive response on inspections of the Parchin nuclear site near Tehran, Amano added.
The UN nuclear watchdog chief said despite the Geneva agreement Iran’s true nature of nuclear policy has not changed, adding Iran has not informed the agency of building new facilities. This regime has also not given in to the Additional Protocol. Therefore, the agency cannot reach this conclusion that all of Iran’s existing nuclear material and facilities are meant for peaceful purposes.
