Hezbollah’s provocative actions placed the terror group on GCC blacklist

The Gulf Cooperation Council, GCC, has placed the Lebanese terror group, Hezbollah and all its’ leaders, affiliated groups and organizations in its list of terrorist organizations. Dr. Abdul-latif al-Ziyani, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council stipulated this decision follows continuing enmity measures by Hezbollah, recruiting the youths of GCC countries for terror attacks, the smuggling of arms and explosives, sedition, provoking violence, commotion, major negligence of sovereignty, security and stability of GCC member states.
The GCC described the terrorist and provocative measures by the Lebanese Hezbollah in Syria, Yemen and Iraq as being against values, moral and humanitarian principles, international laws and a threat for national security of Arab states. On the other hand the Kuwait Parliament announced based on a law on electronic crimes and following the GCC ruling, any propaganda or support for this terrorist group will be considered a crime.
“This decision was made as these nations are facing increasing measures under the Iran project framework in the region,” Jamal Ghashoghchi, a writer and reporter, said from Jeddah to Al Jazeera TV. “This decision has been made after much delay and Saudi Arabia should have blacklisted these groups back in 2013. Hezbollah is the flagship of the Iranian’s war in our region. There is no Shiite political project in the region that its personnel have not received training or expertise from Hezbollah. This group is the Iranian’s home of expertise in the region.”
