CENTCOM Commander General Lloyd Austin said at a Senate Armed Forces Committee hearing on Wednesday in response to a question from Committee members that the relations between the US and Iran remains very challenging. Iran remains the main threat of the Middle East. The most important concern the US has is Iran’s negative activities in the Middle East countries through the Revolutionary Guards Quds Force and Ministry of Intelligence, and also its proxies such as the Lebanese Hezbollah.
General Lloyd Austin said in response to a question from a senator on Iran’s future actions after gaining access to the unfrozen money that the US will most definitely stop Iran’s meddling and the US has plans that this has limited this regime in Syria and other regions of the Middle East, and stops Tehran from sending arms to the Houthis in Yemen.
