The New York Sun, published in US wrote that a French court had blocked 85,000,000 dollars of assets belonging to the Iranian regime’s Bank Markazi.
This court has operated based on the US court verdict for paying compensation to the victims of the mullahs’ regime’s terrorism.
The New York Post added that this was the first time that US courts managed to convince a foreign court to block the Iranian regime’s assets.
The blockage of the Iranian regime’s assets is the first step in a long legal process by which the US victims’ families hope to attain the compensation.
