Dr. Mohammad Malaki, former Tehran University dean, wrote a letter of sympathy to the families of death row political prisoners.
“Greetings, I have been informed that your efforts to reveal the cruelty and injustice enforced against your loved ones, and your resistance and perseverance have led to results. Fortunately, the death sentences issued against your loved ones will be revoked. This news will bring joy to all those who are participating in this campaign to revoke this execution. I congratulate you and all the good and patient Kurdish people and I hope the execution verdicts of all political prisoners and prisoners of conscience will be revoked and the use of capital punishment in Iran comes to an end.”
