
Flood waters in the northern Iranian city of Chaloos and 150 surrounding villages caused heavy damages. Following heavy rains, flood waters poured into Chaloos and other areas on Sunday night.
The region of Ashkar-dasht and the villages of Mahdi Abad, Taze Abad, Ali Abad, Alef Kola and Paloosh Deh are in critical conditions. Reports indicate heavy damages have been inflicted on residential areas.
Equipment and assets in this city are not able to respond to the conditions after the floods and no assistance has been dispatched from the governorate in this region.
Due to Sunday night’s floods, 300 families in the towns of Hachirood and the neighboring communities and villages have suffered damages. Floods have also inflicted serious damages to the agricultural fields in this area.
