A group of farmers in the city of Rafsanjan, central Iran, rallied on Sunday, December 11th, protesting a license issued by the city irrigation department for digging a well, without taking into consideration the damages such a project will cause for the farmers.
In this rally the farmers protested the damages they will suffer and demanded this project to be halted immediately as it is only in favor of certain individuals seeking personal profits.
