The Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on July 22nd calling on all Middle East countries to respect the UN Charter articles on meddling in other countries’ internal affairs.
Egypt also emphasized on its solidarity with Arab countries that might be the targets of ‘foreign meddling’.
The Egyptian Foreign Ministry statement was issued four days after Khamenei’s remarks where he said, “Our regional policy will not change despite the nuclear agreement and we will not stop supporting our friends in the region.”
Analysts have evaluated these remarks as in line with the mullahs’ continuing their terrorist and turbulent policies.
