The Egyptian government rejected remarks by mullahs’ regime officials on elevating relations with regime. Yasser Ali, Spokesperson for the Egyptian President, announced that on his recent trip to Tehran Mohamed Morsi did not discuss renewing bilateral relations with the Iranian regime.
“In the meeting between Ahmadinejad and Mohamed Morsi, the issue of raising representative levels or reopening embassies was not mentioned”, said Egyptian President Spokesperson.
Hussein Amir Abdullahiyan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, had recently stated that Ahmadinejad had discussed the Syrian crisis and raising diplomatic relations between the regime and Egypt.
