Hosseini, a member of the Iranian regime’s Majlis (parliament) admitted due to increasing unemployment in Iran many people are barely making ends meet, state-run Fars News Agency reported.
“Today, our youths are truly faced with discontent and hopelessness, and families are seriously worried. While many in our country have 3 or 4 jobs they are barely making ends meet” this Majlis member said in the daily session.
“Currently only people who have special links and friends in high places can manage to find a government job,” he added in a clear reference to the behind-the-curtain deals in the Iranian regime. “This trend is now continuing and we truly cannot respond to our youths’ demands for jobs.”
