Isfahan Province saw drinking water being cut off in various areas of the province on Friday, August 22nd. Two years ago in the month of November, shortage of drinking water and the rerouting of the waters of Zayande River led to protest rallies in these areas. Head of the regime’s anti-riot police described these rallies as the most important security issue after the 2009 national uprising.
