
The students of the Elm-o- Sanaat University (Sence and technology College) disrupted a meeting held for Ahmadinejad’s speech under tight security measures in Tehran. They shouted slogans calling for “release of imprisoned students”.
The state run Jahan website reported on Nov. 12, “Today the meeting for Ahmadinejad’s speech was disrupted with students protest in the Elm-o- Sanaat University.”
Iranian regime took tight security measures in fear of students’ protests and closed down all university classes; even the university management was unaware of the meeting location. Large number of security forces and police were stationed in and around university and even the state reporters were not permitted to enter the auditorium.
Meanwhile students of the Amir Kabir University in Tehran staged a demonstration and sit-in at Mathematica and Computer Colleges of the Amir Kabir University in protest to continuation of imprisonment of their fellow students.
also student of Isfahan University demonstrated in protest to the continuation of imprisonment of students in Tehran and suppression and they chanted slogans saying “the imprisoned students must be released”.
