It seems that Rouhani has been casting doubts on the prospect of a nuclear agreement with the West, according to CNN. In a state television appearance on Thursday, April 9, 2015, Rouhani said “Iran will never sign any agreement, unless all sanction are lifted simultaneously.”
Iran and the six powers agreed last Thursday on a framework agreement that prevents Iran from making nuclear weapons. The US says if Iran sticks to its end of the bargain and show transparency in its nuclear program, sanctions would phase out gradually. The next and presumably the last deadline on these nuclear negotiations is set to expire on June 30.
