Cleric warns of danger for Khamenei in upcoming election

NCRI, 11 Jan 2013 – A senior Khamenei aide warned on Wednesday that in case of people’s “absence” in the upcoming elections the “leader” would be “killed, isolated or vanished,” the state-run news agency Mehr reported.
Mullah Ali Saeedi, Khamenei’s representative in the Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), was speaking in Isfahan to mobilize the regime’s forces to participate in the upcoming presidential election in June.
He said that we “must be on the target” and put someone in office who will conform to velayat-e faqih (supreme religious rule); not someone who will “pacify the system.”
