Bandar Abbas
On Monday and Tuesday, January 6 and 7, family members of inmates in the southern city of Bandar Abbas gathered in front of the revolutionary court and protested their children’s baseless arrests.

Over 250 workers from the Tight Water Company in Bandar Abbas staged a gathering and protested the submission of the company that has left the laborers workless.


Asalooyeh workers stage protest
Contracting workers from the Petro Pars Company in Asalooyeh staged a gathering outside the company on Wednesday, 8 December and protested not receiving 5 months’ wage. Coincidently, laid off workers from various companies in Asalooyeh staged a protest and demanded their return to work. Most of the protesting workers were from Phases 13, 17 and 18.


Dehloran
A group of villagers from Dehloran on Sunday, 5 January gathered outside the Iranian regime’s environment department and clashed with State Security Forces. This protest took place after two youths from the area died. The outraged people say that if the regime’s officials in the environment department had done their job, these two youths wouldn’t have died.


Maragha Prison
Based on reports at hand, a group of inmates from the Maragha Prison have gone on hunger strike in protest to the lack of medical treatment and poor sanitation conditions. An inmate in the Maragha Prison died due to the lack of medical treatment. His name was Akbar Golipour, 40, and he died on Sunday, 5 January in the prison.
