The dean of the Iran’s University of Medical Sciences revealed that during the past ten months alone 60 children under the age of 12 have committed suicide.
“In total, 8.8% of unnatural deaths in the country are related to children under the age of 12,” Hassan Abolghasemi said.
“The forensics department has published statistics regarding unnatural deaths showing that every year we are faced with 43,000 cases of unnatural deaths throughout the country,” he added.
