The official Bahrain Interior Ministry spokesman made public comments on the subject of a terrorist network found in this country.
“The members of this network had documents, computers, flight tickets to Syria and a considerable amount of US dollars and Iranian currency,” the spokesman described. “The accused have admitted to being instigated by others to illegally depart Bahrain to go to Iran through Qatar and Syria. The goals of this network were to attack the Saudi Embassy in the Bahraini capital and also the Interior Ministry building.”
