· In continuation of their city-wide strike, more than 600 shop keepers in Bazaar of Isfahan gathered outside the office of economy and finance in that city and asked for annulling tax hike decision by the regime.

· The goldsmith shops in Mashhad went on strike in protest against the tax hike and extortions by the Iranian regime outside public prosecutor’s office in Mashhad on Tuesday. They asked for tax dismissal. The deputy chairman of the goldsmith guild said: This law would end to bankruptcy of all gold sellers and goldsmiths in the country; there are 1500 gold sellers and goldsmiths shop in Mashhad.

· In protest to the suppressive measures of the State Security Force (SSF), the Qazvin bazaar shopkeepers shut down their shops. This was after the SSF agents had closed peddlers’ bazaar and some shops under the pretext of disciplinary plan.

· The workers of Sazmayeh Pakdasht Company in Tehran province held a protesting gathering outside the Public Prosecutor’s office of Pakdasht asking for their unpaid salaries and non-existence of professional safety.

· The workers of Porcelain Royal Company in Semnan (eastern Iran) staged a protesting gathering in front of the governorate office on Monday and asked for their 5-month unpaid salaries and remuneration in 2007.
