
PARIS – Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Naif’s, deputy premier and minister of interior, visit to France is very important for relations between the two countries, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel Bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said on Thursday night.
In a press statement to Al-Ekhbariah Channel, he said that the Crown Prince’s visit to France comes within the sphere of continuing coordination and consultation between the two countries, at the highest levels.
He added that he expects, during the visit, that several issues related to bilateral relations, would be discussed, apart from Syrian, Iraqi and Yemeni issues and Iran’s interference in the affairs of the region as well as the fight against terrorism and terror financing.
Al-Jubeir expressed confidence on the conformity of views between the two countries and the visit’s success.
French Ambassador to the Kingdom Bertrand Besancenot underscored the significance of Crown Prince’s visit to France.
The Saudi ambassador to France Dr. Khalid Bin Muhammad Al-Anqari said that the visit is very important in terms of cementing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.
He said that the relations between the two countries, are already strong and are flourishing, and no doubt, we will exert endeavors to take ties in military, security, economic, cultural and political spheres to greater heights. — SPA
