According to the state-run Aftab News media, nearly 500 workers of the “Installation Building” Company in the Abadan Oil Refinery Complex went on strike and staged a gathering at their worksite protesting their unpaid wages.

While a number of directors of this state company receive huge salaries up to around 15 thousand dollars a month, the wages of numerous workers have not been paid for months.
