According to registered statistics, during July20-August 20 more than 350 protesting move including strike, sit-in, clash, and gathering were staged in Iran against the suppressive and predatory policies of the clerical regime by the Iranian people.

According to these statistics 135 strikes, demonstrations and gatherings were staged in the factories by workers, on top of them the strike of Kian Tire Company which still continues after a month.

38 clashes with the State Security Forces occurred during demonstrations and social protests during this time.

One of the brutal crimes of the regime during that time was execution of 29 prisoners on July 27, 2008; among them were some political prisoners which were carried out on 20th anniversary of massacre of 30,000 political prisoners in 1988.
