30,000 Iranian workers sign petition protesting mullahs’ anti-labor policies

Coinciding with the protest gathering of workers outside the mullahs’ Majlis (parliament) in central Tehran, 10,000 new signatures were added to the already 20,000 signature petition. Therefore, the petition now has the signature of 30,000 protesting Iranian workers.
This petition reads in part:
“As the coordinating committee of the petition protesting wages and anti-labor changes in the country’s laws, we have to this day written two letters along with the signatures of 20,000 workers… During this period hundreds of thousands of workers have been laid off from work. The signatories of this petition also demand the expulsion of the regime’s labor minister.”
