Three political prisoners by the names of Jafar Eghdami, Rassul Baddaghi and Shahrokh Zamani held in Karaj’s Gohardasht Prison, located west of Tehran, sent a message commemorating Iran’s annual Students Day.
“Students Day reminds us all of the struggle between university students and autocratic and despotic rulers. Universities have always been hated by dictatorial rulers. Murder, imprisonment, torture and threatening students through various methods, have been the common policy of the Shah and religious regime against Iran’s university students,” this message read in part.
