An Iranian regime official by the name of Mojtaba Khosravi admitted that $3 billion of gold, $2.7 billion of textile, $2 billion of house appliances, $912 million of cigarettes, $1.5 billion of computers and parts, $1.5 billion of spare parts, $1.1 billion of cosmetics and $1.8 billion of mobile phones, Tablets and other such appliances are smuggled into the country.
It is worth noting that the numbers presented above are just a tip of the iceberg of the plundering carried out by the Iranian regime’s various factions, including smuggling various food stuffs, luxury vehicles, smuggling fuel and smuggling medicine. The regime’s own officials have said there smuggling activities rises to more than $20 billion alone.
