Iranian Resistance President-elect Maryam Rajavi offered her condolences on the sudden demise of Lord Tarsem King to the English people and UK Parliament, the Parliamentary Group for Iran Freedom, and especially to his wife Mrs. Mohinder, son Raj
“With his demise, the British community lost a voice of true democracy, and the Iranian people and Ashraf and Liberty residents lost a great friend and supporter,” she said.
“We shall never forget his words where he said, ‘In the long run, it is in the interest of all for people to rise for freedom and what is their right.
Dictators will fall one after another and generations who have fought for freedom will rise’.” Mrs. Rajavi added.
“Truly, Tarsem King represented the best values of European and Indian cultures by synthesizing politics with dignity, humility and seeking justice,” Mrs. Rajavi said.
“His efforts, among the 35 noble British parliamentarians who challenged this country’s government on the cruel designation of the PMOI, along with his relentless support for Ashraf residents, have recorded his good name for all time in the history of the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom,” she added.
“There is no doubt that representatives of the English people, and all those in Europe who have banished the failed policy of appeasement, will defend freedom and democracy for Iran and fill his place. His humane and moral virtues are a flame that shall be never dimmed,” Mrs. Rajavi continued.
