On Sunday June 29, in a meeting with a group of personalities and representatives of the parliaments of Britain, Canada and Australia in Auver-sur-Oise, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance Mrs. Maryam Rajavi appreciated endeavors by the representatives of British both Houses for removal of the PMOI from the list of proscribed organizations and congratulated them their victory in this judicial and political struggle, and emphasized on ceaseless efforts for immediate removal of the PMOI from the European Union terrorist list.

In this meeting Lord Corbett , chairman of the Labor Party Lords in the British House of Lords, Lord Waddington, the former British Interior Minister, Baroness Gould, Lord Dalakia, Baroness Verma, Baroness Gibson and Lord Cutter, Members of the House of Lords, Mr. Joe Benton, Member of House f Commons and Mr. Edward Graves, Lawyer from Britain and also Mrs. Raymond Fulco, Mrs. Yasmin Ratansi and Mr. Tom Voppel, representatives of Canadian Parliament, Mrs. Sonia Honri, representative of Australian Parliament and Mr. Antonio Stango, secretary of the Italian Radical Party stressed on their decisive will to remove the PMOI from the EU terrorist list.

Referring to the debate at both Houses of the British Parliament on the Act of removing the PMOI from the proscribed list, Mrs. Rajavi said: Both Houses were the scene of historic and glorious defense of justice and rights of the Iranian people for resistance, a lofty line-up against the policy of appeasement with the clerical regime that tried to prevent removal of the PMOI from the list to the last moment, but it failed.

Addressing the parliament members, Mrs. Rajavi said: Now you are in an exceptional position for calling the EU to end the injustice against the Iranian people and to ask France, as the EU periodical President to end the policy of appeasement and to be innovator of a decisive policy regarding the mullahs’ regime.
