Flight of Iranian Resistance leader from Tehran to Paris

On July 29, 1981, Mr. Massoud Rajavi, leader of the Iranian Resistance, in a heroic and risky operation flew from Tehran’s 1st fighter base to Paris. This flight took place a few days after announcement of foundation of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI) by Massoud Rajavi in Tehran, a flight that was the first step in introduction and stabilization of the NCRI as the only democratic alternative for the Khomeini’s anti-human regime.

This flight was the beginning for significant political and international develoopements and advancements for the Iranian Resistance as well as exposure of Khomeini regime.

A year later, on July 28, 1982, the Iranian regime sentenced to death 6 patriotic airborne personnel who had assisted during this flight.
