On December 25, 1977, Charlie Chaplin, a great cinema genius, passed away.
He was born in London in 1889. His parents were theater actors hence, Charlie started singing and dancing on stage at the age of 8. At 17, he managed to have a comedy role in a traveling group till 1913 when he moved to the United States with his group and continued performance there.
He entered cinema in the US and turned into one the most well known actors of silent films. He has made people laugh for almost a century.
Charlie’s most well known movies are: The Kid, 1921; Gold Hunters, 1925; City Lights, 1931; Modern Age, 1936; The Dictator, 1940.
