
In two isolated cased in the capital Tehran, two young teenagers, one boy and one girl, were stabbed by unidentified motorbike riders. These attacks happened on Monday, Dec. 15 and created an atmosphere of horror in the schools and among other students. The teenage girl age about 13 years old was stabbed near her school in Nazi-Abad, Tehran. According to the eyewitness, the motorbike riders attacked her from behind.
In a similar case, a boy was stabbed near his school at Soroush Ave. in Tehran where another lone bike rider approaches him from behind and strikes him with his knife. In both cases the culprits fled.
On the evening of the same day, Monday, more acid attacks were reported. In this case the victim was a young girl ini Tehran where a motorbike rider approaches and splashes acid at her face.
Acid attacks and stabbing attacks against innocent women and girls have become common in recent months since the ratification of a criminal law of the “enjoining of virtue and prohibiting vice” by the parliament which authorizes Basij paramilitary force to attack women with impunity.
