Al Arabiya TV cited Iraqi political analyst Heidar Saeed al-Maliki saying, “It’s impossible for Maliki to reach enough seats in the parliament. This is impossible. I should say clearly between 328 seats Maliki may only obtain 30% of it. This is the maximum. This will not allow him to reach this post… Today Maliki is willing align with Sunnis and the Kurds. But it is clear neither Sunni forces nor the Kurds will not give in to this situation. Therefore, as long as Iranian regime pressure and/or fraud don’t exist reaching such a post for him would be impossible.”
