NCRI, 8 Jan 2013 – Some 1200 workers at Safa and Saveh Pipe Rolling Company in Iran continue protests for the second week.  The latest rally began on December 28 over non-payment of six months of overdue wages.
 
During the last week engineers at the factory joined workers to support their demands.
The Iranian regime has unsuccessfully been trying to end the protest by making hollow promises to the striking workers.
