Radio France-International, 25 November 2010 – Members of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France released a declaration today calling on the European Union to assume the protection of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) in Camp Ashraf, Iraq.

According to AFP, this written declaration that was signed by the majority of the EMPs was addressed to Ms. Catherine Ashton, urging her to take measures in cooperation with the UN to provide security for the residents of Camp Ashraf. This declaration has stated that the camp is viciously under a siege and restrictions enforced by Iraqi government forces.
