The United Nations Security Council adopted a resolution on Thursday, September 10th approving international investigation to clarify the party responsible for chemical attacks in Syria.
This resolution was signed in the Security Council after a rare cooperation between the United States and Russia in the over 4-year long clashes in Syria.
No country opposed the letter of request filed by UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon asking for UN investigation in this regard.
Ban Ki-moon then issued a statement welcoming the adoption of this resolution calling for an international investigation in this regard.
