AZZMAN Daily reported: since the Iraq’s war in 2003, ten thousand Iraqi physicians had been prompted to leave Iraq due to dire security situation. Over this period about 200 physicians have lost their lives because of terrorist operations.

Dr. Nadhim Abdul Hamid, president of Iraq’s Physicians Union added: departure of Iraqi physicians and their assassination has left negative impacts on providing health services and on treatment of Iraqi patients.
