Al-Sharqiya News TV, 30 Sep 2012 – Dissident Syrian general Adnan Salu, Syria’s chemical warfare chief-of-staff before joining the Free Syrian Army, revealed a group of Iranian experts are charged with providing assistance to Syria in chemical warfare.
“The Syrian regime will use chemical weapons if it feels it will be overthrown by its opponents,” CNN cited Salu as saying.
“There is evidence of chemical tests carried out by Iranian and Syrian experts in special areas outside of Aleppo, a region full of tunnels and Scud missile launch pads,” he added.
