US State Department released a statement expressing concern over continued suppression of students and imposing intensive limitations on them by the mullahs’ regime.

In this statement, Sean McCormack, US State Department’ spokesman, described detainment of tens of students, dismissal of professors, and severe limitations, and prevention of freedom of speech and thought in Iranian Universities, as effective factors for worry.

US State Department asked for release of the detained students in this statement.
