The political prisoner Reyhaneh Haj-Ibrahim, a relative of the PMOI being captive in the notorious Evin Prison, women’s ward, has been suffering from neurological pains of her back and legs and also bleeding ulcer for a long time. The criminal agents of intelligence ministry are obstructing any medical treatments to her and torturing her physically as well as psychologically through this inhuman method.
Ms. Haj-Ibrahim was arrested on December 2009 and was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment just for having family ties to the opposition group PMOI.
