Israel restarted its aerial attacks and bombings of Gaza from Tuesday afternoon. The Israeli army spokesman said negligence towards the Egyptian ceasefire and Hamas’ continuing rocket attacks are the reason behind new attacks by Israel. So far the 9-day conflict in the Middle East has taken the lives of 227 Palestinians and one Israelis and nearly 2,000 have been wounded. The UN says 75% of these casualties have been civilians.
