According to the Baku-based Bizim Yol daily, the Republic of Azerbaijan has taken financial security measures to prevent the Iranian regime from money laundering and providing financial assistance to terrorist groups around the world through this country’s banks.
Based on this report, this policy is in relations with Tehran’s nontransparent actions and the mullahs’ taking advantage of other countries’ banking systems for money laundering.
This report indicates Azeri banks have refused to accept any kind transactions from Iranian regime’s banks. International inspectors have described this measure by Azerbaijan as this country joining international sanctions against the Iranian regime.
Coalitions against the Iranian regime have requested from Azeri officials to end their suspicious relations with the Iranian regime, this newspaper added.
